Hydroseeding has two advantages over broadcast method.  The hydroseeding mixture is wood fiber pulp based, mixed with seed and fertilizer.  The wood fiber pulp mulch help keeps the seed moist as it germinates, and the fertilizer accelerates the growth of the seed.
